SAN FRANCISCO — An Alameda County jury on Tuesday awarded $100,000 in punitive damages on top of its earlier $1.15 million award for Oakland lawyer Thomas Ostly in his countersuit against a former paralegal.
The weeks-long trial ended in a total defeat of Allison Moreno’s sexual harassment and wrongful termination claims against Ostly and his former law firm, which is now known as Murphy, Vu, Thongsamouth & Chatterjee.
