Richard J. Flaster, founding partner and president of Cherry Hill, N.J.-based Flaster Greenberg, died suddenly at home Monday at the age of 67.

Flaster started what is now known as Flaster Greenberg in 1972 when he left New York-based Stroock & Stroock & Lavan to form a two-lawyer tax practice with Emmanuel Liebman, under the banner Liebman & Flaster. In 1976, Steve Greenberg came on board and the firm eventually came to its current name of Flaster Greenberg.
