Sometimes a white guy like me needs a swift kick in the ass to be reminded that there are some seriously racist knuckleheads out there. The reminder came in the form of a voicemail I received last week.
The caller claimed to be a lawyer and said he was expressing an opinion that a lot of white lawyers have but don’t want to say. He went on to say that he was sick of “your filthy, disgusting, racist diversity thoughts.”
