Five months after a York County, Pa., trial court ruled in a case of first impression that public officials’ private e-mails are not subject to public disclosure under the state’s Right-to-Know Law, a Montgomery County court has issued a similar ruling.

Montgomery County Judge Kent H. Albright reversed a final determination of the state Office of Open Records, finding that e-mails on Worcester Township supervisors’ personal computers are not public record.
