What at first glance appears to be a routine slip-and-fall case has netted a plaintiff a $5.5 million jury verdict in Philadelphia.
After three hours of deliberation following a seven-day trial, a 12-member jury handed down the verdict in Judge Gary F. DiVito’s courtroom on Sept. 28.
