Pace Law School’s part-time evening program has been around since 1976, but this year’s fall class will be the last to complete their law degrees in four years of night classes.
Pace faculty voted last week to phase out the program, which has become too costly to run in the light of declining enrollment. Pace administrators said that interest in part-time evening programs has fallen as employers have scaled back subsidies for employees who pursue law degrees.
