Over the last few years, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board has taken aggressive action to expand its retail distribution channels by exploring supermarkets, kiosks and other channels.
Along the way, however, those efforts have been met with controversy. Many, for instance, have been, and continue to be, litigated, with the lead case currently awaiting a decision from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
