Denise Fitzhenry, a former executive assistant to Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn vice-chair and onetime chairman Alan Schwartz, sued Schwartz and the firm on Wednesday for allegedly discriminating against her following an injury.
Fitzhenry alleges that in February 2007 she sustained a work-related back injury that forced her to undergo surgery and take a leave of absence from the firm under the Family and Medical Leave Act.
