Hogan Lovells, an international firm with a typically quiet Philadelphia outpost, has made a big hire from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the city.

Executive Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Virginia A. “Ginny” Gibson has left her leadership post after 24 years in the public sector for Hogan Lovells, where she now serves as a partner in the litigation, arbitration and employment practice group. Gibson will split her time between the firm’s Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., offices.
