The state Supreme Court has granted an appeal in an asbestos case that asks the question of whether experts can assume a little exposure to the carcinogen is the same as a lot of exposure.

The high court in Betz v. Pneumo Abex granted appeal limited to the issue of whether the Superior Court erred when it reversed the trial court’s decision to exclude the testimony of the plaintiffs’ experts in a case involving friction-based products like those found in the automotive industry.
