A $3.25 million settlement has been struck in the Montgomery Common Pleas Court case of a man who alleged he had a disk herniation in his back after his truck was rear-ended in backed-up traffic on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Plaintiff George Butler Jr.’s case went to trial in early December in front of Senior Judge S. Gerald Corso before a settlement was struck after Butler’s case had been presented for a couple of days, said the plaintiff’s attorney, Harry A. Dorian Jr. of Dorian Goldstein Wisniewski & Orchinik in Bensalem, Pa.
