A lawyer who called a local prosecutor an idiot and forcefully bumped into a police officer who was there to testify against his client was hit with a three-month suspension on Thursday.
Rochelle Park solo Hamdi Rifai also has to contact the Bergen County Bar Association’s Committee on Professionalism for an assessment and if the committee deems it appropriate, it will develop a program to help him learn how to be polite and possibly appoint a mentor.
