At the start of its second month, 2011 is already shaping up to be the year of the city-bound suburban firm.

Earlier this month, Jenkintown, Pa.-based general practice firm Friedman Schuman opened an office in Center City, Philadelphia, aiming to better establish its government relations, municipal law, real estate and financial services practices within the city limits.
