Stephen A. Sheller of Sheller P.C. was presented with the inaugural Pioneer Award by the Tobacco Control Resource Center on Feb. 4 at the American Association for Justice Winter Convention in Miami.
Sheller was recognized for his work in “light” cigarette litigation, including discovery of a tobacco manufacturer’s internal document minutes before a deposition in Winston-Salem in 1997, now considered one of the “smoking guns” in the ongoing litigation.
