The use of social media has exploded over the last several years. If Facebook were a country, its 500 million users would form the third largest country in the world, behind only China and India. The numbers are staggering, especially given that Facebook has only been around since 2004.

The rapid growth of other social media outlets such as YouTube and Twitter has been equally impressive. Chances are, however, that the more senior colleagues in the big corner offices of your law firm don’t know much about Facebook or YouTube. That’s where young lawyers can really add value.
