There has been constant talk for years about the need for more diversity in law firms. The fact that The Legal Intelligencer is even publishing this supplement reflects an unsolved problem.
There is not one managing partner, not one hiring partner, not one judge or officer of a bar association who will not give lip service to the need to hire more minorities across the board. Everyone agrees that the hiring of more minorities in all aspects of the legal profession should be a priority. Everyone agrees that minorities enrich a law firm in numerous ways, including the deepening of the collective experience a law firm can field.
