Dechert has become the latest in a line of Pennsylvania firms to open an office in Los Angeles. The firm has set up shop in the city with the hire of four Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe partners, including a former head of Orrick’s national litigation team.
The group of litigation lawyers joining Dechert is led by partner Edwin V. Woodsome Jr. and includes partners William W. Oxley, Christopher S. Ruhland and Andrew S. Wong. Dechert Chairman Barton J. Winokur and Woodsome each said associates may follow the group over at a later date.
