Stephen H. Frishberg , a partner with Deeb Petrakis Blum & Murphy , has been elected president of the Golden Slipper Club and Charities of Philadelphia .
Golden Slipper Club and Charities is a multi-service agency of three entities: a camp for children in the Poconos; a short- and long-term rehabilitation and nursing care facility in Northeast Philadelphia; and a senior center in the Balwynne Park section of Philadelphia. It also provides community services, including college scholarships, emergency assistance to families in need, and educational, social and cultural opportunities for area seniors.
