Join the Philadelphia Bar Association’s public interest section in celebrating its 20th anniversary.

On April 25, the ACLU of Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia Bar Association’s public interest section, civil rights committee and delivery of legal services committee will host a program titled, “Freedom of Expression in Egypt: Before and After the Uprising,” from 3:30 to 5 p.m., followed by a wine and cheese reception from 5 to 6 p.m., at the Philadelphia Bar Association, 11th Floor Conference Center, 1101 Market St., Philadelphia. The program will feature an Egyptian civil rights advocate who specializes in academic freedom with a prominent human rights organization based in Cairo. She is serving a professional internship with the American Civil Liberties Union, courtesy of the U.S. Agency for International Development’ Cairo Initiative, which is administered nationally by World Learning and locally by the International Visitors Council of Philadelphia. This program is free for all Philadelphia Bar Association members, but pre-registration is required. For more information and to register online visit www.philadelphiabar.org.
