According to the unofficial primary election returns, Republican voters apparently had little trouble deciding who they want to see on Pennsylvania’s appellate courts, while Democrats were split almost evenly between their two candidates in the Commonwealth Court primary.
The majority of GOP voters seemed intent to vote for party-backed candidates, but after 9,189 out of 9,248 districts had reported statewide, the Democrats’ endorsed Commonwealth Court candidate was in the lead by only 0.5 percent.
