Ousted Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Rolf Larsen cannot have the unvouchered expenses he received while on the high court count toward his salary when determining the amount of retirement benefits he is due, the Commonwealth Court has ruled.
In finding against Larsen in Larsen v. State Employees’ Retirement System , the three-judge panel also ruled he could not retroactively set his retirement date to the day he was removed from office in 1994 when he didn’t file for retirement benefits until 2001.
