Baker & Daniels and Faegre & Benson confirmed Thursday that they are in formal discussions on a potential combination that will be put to their respective partnerships for a vote sometime in October.
“We are engaged in strategic combination discussions, which we announced to our partners today,” said Thomas Froehle, Jr., chair and chief executive partner at Baker & Daniels, a 280-lawyer firm based in Indianapolis.
