A Philadelphia judge ruled that an attorney was not slandered when opposing counsel said he was trying to extort his clients during a private meeting.
Kenneth Richmond, who is representing plaintiffs in a lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, is appealing to the state Superior Court the decision by Philadelphia Common Pleas Court Judge Allan L. Tereshko to dismiss his slander complaint against Joseph J. McHale of Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young.
