Philadelphia-based insurance defense firm Bennett Bricklin & Saltzburg announced the opening of a Pittsburgh office Tuesday, citing a desire to bring in more of its clients’ Western Pennsylvania-based work.

“It’s become apparent to us that to provide adequate service to our clients and to compete with other firms doing what we’re doing, we have to provide a statewide presence,” said Louis E. Bricklin, managing partner of the firm. The new office “increases our ability to do that.”
