The Pennsylvania Defense Institute is an organization whose leadership varies between defense lawyers and the insurance executives who often have a hand in hiring them. As the organization approaches its 42nd year, it’s the turn of an attorney to lead the organization, specifically Harrisburg attorney Charles Wasilefski of seven-lawyer firm Peters & Wasilefski.

Wasilefski said in a recent interview that PDI is unique among defendant-oriented legal organizations in the country because it has not only defense attorneys but also insurance executives active in the organization.
