A bill introduced by Pennsylvania House Majority Leader Mike Turzai, R-Allegheny, seeks to amend the Liquor Code to abolish state stores and privatize wine and liquor sales.

According to HB 11, the purpose of these amendments is to “continue and enhance the generation of revenue to the Commonwealth related to the wholesale and retail sale of liquor.”
