Deena Jo Schneider, a partner in the appellate practice group at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, has been elected to the executive committee of the American Bar Association’s Council of Appellate Lawyers (CAL), a national appellate bench-bar organization.
Founded in 2000, the CAL’s mission is to foster a dialogue among federal and state appellate lawyers and judges that will improve appellate advocacy and strengthen ties among the numerous federal, state and local appellate bar associations. Often working with the Appellate Judges Education Institute, CAL sponsors and develops continuing legal education programs taught by appellate judges and practitioners.
