Richard R. Goldberg, 70, attorney at Ballard Spahr, is set to retire Dec. 30 after 18 years at the firm and 47 years in practice. Goldberg has worked as an assistant city solicitor in Baltimore, and as vice president and associate general counsel of The Rouse Company. He is a member of the national real estate bar and worked on property deals in Philadelphia, Boston and Baltimore.

Goldberg is a former president of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, former chair of the Anglo-American Real Property Institute, a member of the American Law Institute and a fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys.
