Michael J. Tierney, a partner at Dilworth Paxson, was appointed to the Pennsylvania Workforce Investment Board by Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett.
The board is the governor’s private-sector policy adviser for building a workforce development system. Members are appointed by the governor. The cabinet secretaries of five state agencies and four members of the General Assembly also serve on the board.
