Claims against British Airways are barred by an international agreement governing aviation, a federal judge ruled.

The allegations that substantial flight delays and lost baggage caused severe medical issues for a passenger fall under a 1999 agreement signed by 118 national governments in Montreal, which includes a two-year statute of limitations, U.S. District Judge Eduardo C. Robreno of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania ruled.
