In one of his first initiatives as president of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Thomas G. Wilkinson Jr. has appointed a task force to recommend updates to the state’s Code of Judicial Conduct.
Co-chaired by Bridget E. Montgomery of Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott in Harrisburg and Abraham C. Reich of Fox Rothschild in Philadelphia, the task force will review the American Bar Association’s Model Code of Judicial Conduct before weighing in on matters ranging from disclosure of gifts to standards of recusal, a PBA press release said Friday.
