At the beginning of this month, after the state Supreme Court granted allocatur in a workers’ compensation case and disposed of it in the very same order, Justice Thomas G. Saylor wrote to dissent.
In a two-page dissenting statement in Hostler v. Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board (Miller Wagman Inc.), Saylor pointed out that he continues to believe the Supreme Court should “exercise greater restraint” when deciding whether or not to take up a case.
