The 33rd annual Philadelphia Bar Association Run was held on May 20, and almost 1,300 participants finished the 5K course. The open competition was won by Tim Pagano, an accountant at Harrods residing in Philadelphia, and Carmon Harvey, a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association who is with Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads. The bar association competition was won by Neill Clark of Faruqi & Faruqi for the 14th consecutive time and Harvey, who won the female bar competition for the second year in a row for a sweep of the women’s competition.

The weather was brilliant with the sun shining on a low-humidity day with most of the race completed while the temperature was below 65 degrees. The temperature was cool enough for the participants and comfortable for the audience and volunteers. The ambience was also enhanced by radio station B101 Philadelphia playing music throughout the pre-race registration, the race and the post-race celebration. The Support Center for Child Advocates, the beneficiary of the race, will be the recipient of at least $100,000 that was raised this year.
