At the beginning of last week, a seemingly endless fleet of national media, local press, and everyone in between came to Bellefonte, Pa., for one of the most anticipated criminal prosecutions in recent memory.

For most of the reporters covering the proceedings in the trial of former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky, it was probably the most closely followed trial they had ever reported on, if not their biggest assignment, period.
