Duquesne University has settled the last of three lawsuits brought against it by law professors alleging they were discriminated against for various reasons when they were passed over for promotions or demoted.
Tenured associate law professor Kellen McClendon’s suit against Duquesne President Charles J. Dougherty, Provost Ralph Pearson and the university has been “resolved,” according to a court filing stemming from a Wednesday settlement conference before Chief Magistrate Judge Lisa Pupo Lenihan of the Western District of Pennsylvania. No further details on the resolution were made available.
