In the wake of the release of a survey of in-house counsel expressing strongly negative views of the legal climate in Pennsylvania, particularly in Philadelphia, the administrative judge in charge of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas’ trial division said that many improvements have already been made and it is only a matter of time that in-house counsel “through their lawyers, will eventually see those changes and understand the significance.”
In an interview with The Legal, Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge John W. Herron addressed a survey released by the U.S. Chamber Institute for Legal Reform of 1,125 in-house general counsel, other attorneys or other executives knowledgeable about litigation at their companies with at least $100 million in annual revenue.
