Is it permissible as a lawyer, either on a blog or Facebook, to discuss an upcoming jury trial in the local courthouse?
The answer is very simple. A lawyer can’t do anything to prejudice a jury panel or pool. See Rule of Professional Conduct 3.6. Further, a lawyer cannot violate attorney-client privilege or confidences. See Rule of Professional 1.6.
