Former Delaware Attorney General Richard R. Wier Jr. has joined Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin’s Wilmington, Del., office as senior counsel. He started January 2 and will handle employment and labor, health law, white-collar criminal defense, malpractice defense and complex business litigation.
Wier, the youngest elected attorney general in Delaware’s history, had managed his own firm, Richard R. Wier Jr. & Attorneys, which was formerly Wier & Allen. He told Legal sibling publication Delaware Law Weekly that he closed up his old firm after 20 years in order to join Marshall Dennehey.
