Lackawanna County President Judge Thomas J. Munley testified before a federal grand jury Tuesday, according to sources in the legal community.
While the nature of Munley’s testimony is not known, the Scranton Times-Tribune reported Thursday that Munley’s appearance was related to the 2011 firings of two law clerks working for then-Lackawanna County Court of Common Pleas Judge Chester T. Harhut, who is now a senior judge on the court.
