Little more than a month after Joseph Evers, prothonotary for the First Judicial District, was named the interim court administrator, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has named him permanent court administrator.

Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas President Judge Pamela Pryor Dembe said Evers is a great choice to be the court administrator because he has the "unusual combination" of having vision on how to change things structurally but also being really good at working with people.
