A federal judge in Philadelphia has granted emergency TROs two days in a row to critically ill children seeking eligibility for adult organ transplants.
On Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Michael M. Baylson of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania granted an emergency temporary restraining order to a 10-year-old girl whose doctors say she is likely to die if she doesn’t get a lung transplant soon.
