The U.S. Senate confirmed a third judge to the federal bench in Philadelphia, a week after it confirmed two others.
Luis Felipe Restrepo, a former U.S. magistrate judge, was confirmed on a voice vote Monday night, about a week after Nitza Quinones Alejandro, a former judge on the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, was confirmed on a voice vote, and Jeffrey Schmehl, a former judge on the Berks County Court of Common Pleas, was unanimously confirmed on a roll call vote.
