Although the White House has now officially made two nominations to the federal bench in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, a total of four vacancies remain there and a total of three are on the horizon on the western side of the state.

By October, the Western District of Pennsylvania will have three vacancies on its 10-member bench, including an empty division office in Erie, Pa., which is staffed by one district court judge and a magistrate judge.
