Inadequate notice of foreclosure under Act 91 does not deprive courts of subject-matter jurisdiction, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has ruled.

The high court unanimously rejected the argument of appellee Pamela A. Vukman in Beneficial Consumer Discount v. Vukman that a defective notice under Pennsylvania Foreclosure Prevention, Act 91 strips the court of its subject-matter jurisdiction over the foreclosure proceedings, and determined that defective notice does not affect the jurisdiction of the court to hear the matter.
