Following is a listing of executive and legislative action for the week of September 30. Members of the General Assembly were set to return to session October 7.
Senate-Approved Bills
• SB 21 would expand the list of mandatory reporters of child abuse to include licensed health care practitioners, school administrators, teachers or other school employees, child care services providers, religious leaders, social services workers and employees or volunteers with direct child contact in the course of their employment.
