In a case presenting three separate forum options, a federal judge has chosen not to enforce the selection clauses in some of the contracts between the parties.
To preserve judicial resources, U.S. District Judge Anita Brody said she would keep the copyright infringement suit between textbook publishing giant Pearson and the stock photo agency that alleges it violated copyright agreements in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where it was first filed.
