A trucking company didn’t violate the Americans with Disabilities Act when it fired a driver who struggled with alcoholism, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit ruled.

Thomas Ostrowski, who brought the suit after Con-way Freight fired him following a relapse into drinking soon after his initial treatment, failed to prove that Con-way had discriminated against him because of his disability, the court held.
