Convicted serial child sex-abuser Jerry Sandusky has petitioned the state Supreme Court in a bid to overturn his prison sentence.

The 59-page petition, which was filed Oct. 30, asks the high court to consider whether the trial judge should have given a “prompt report” instruction to the jury, whether the denial of three requested continuances impaired Sandusky’s right to counsel, whether character evidence should be weighed against factual evidence, and whether the prosecutor adversely commented on Sandusky’s silence at trial.
