A patent case over Christmas lights, plagued by discovery disputes, has ended with severe sanctions for the Chinese company accused of violating two U.S. patents.
U.S. District Judge Mitchell S. Goldberg of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania entered final judgment in favor of Fiber Optic Designs, the patent holder, after months of delay and what he determined was bad-faith conduct, including omissions and perjury, from Bortex Industry Co. Ltd.
