Three out-of-state men who downloaded child pornography made by a Pittsburgh-area man who raped his adopted daughter at Disney World were dismissed from a civil suit brought by the victim under a federal law passed in her name.

The three men, who are part of a putative class that could reach into the thousands, had each moved to be dismissed because the federal court in Philadelphia, where the plaintiff now lives, lacks personal jurisdiction over them. U.S. District Senior Judge Stewart Dalzell of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania agreed.
